Not really dealing with this article necessarily, but I have read that people are uninformed and thus frightened by their food. Those of us in agriculture have done a poor job if any job at all at educating you folks about farms and the food we produce.

These aren't industry terms, they are shock phrases created by activists and lazy journalists to get people excited and hysterical so their articles are remembered.

Once again the market will work. When I see something that is a good investment or improves my quality of life I will buy it. I use CFLs where they don't look stupid because it is in my opinion the best light for the money.

This is how it should work. The market dictates the best product. As fossil fuels get harder to acquire and renewable energy becomes cheaper through technology and competition we will move that way without any prodding from big brother.
